INDICATIONS:

Cefixime Chewable Tablets are indicated for the treatment of

Following infections when caused by susceptible organisms:

1. Upper and Lower respiratory tract infection
2. Enteric Fever
3. Otitis Media
4. Urinary tract infection
5. Gonorrhea
6. Sequential treatment after initial parenteral cephalosporins

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Cefixime is contraindicated in patients with a known

hypersensitivity to cephalosporin group of antibiotics.

DOSAGE:

Cefixime chewable tablets should be chewed before swallowing.

The prescribed dose may be administered without regard to meals.

Uncomplicated Gonorrhea Adults: 400 mg as a single dose.

Presentation: Box of 10 Tablets in Alu-Alu Blister pack.
